About Us
Edwin Cabansag brings over 45 years of experience in radiologic imaging and innovation. In 1975, he developed a pioneering device designed to improve safety and efficiency in pediatric radiology. Over the decades, he has continually refined and perfected this technology, eliminating the need for anyone to hold a child during X-ray exposure.
Today, the device has been modernized to integrate seamlessly with contemporary X-ray equipment. It is versatile in design, allowing use against the chest X-ray board or on top of the X-ray tabletop. In addition, Mr. Cabansag developed the EX Film Holder to accommodate newer cassette systems, further enhancing functionality and adaptability.
Mr. Cabansag is also a published author. His article, “Immobilization in Pediatric Radiology,” appeared in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists Journal (Vol. 48, No. 3, pp. 269–271, 1975), reflecting his longstanding commitment to advancing the field.
